The Dubrof Group, LLC is committed to protecting your privacy and personal data. In this document, we describe how we collect, use, and disclose information relating to individuals who participate in our executive searches and/or our coaching engagements. We communicate our Privacy Policy to all employees and contractors and enforce the safeguards described in this Privacy Policy within The Dubrof Group, LLC.  We invite anyone who interacts with our firm to carefully read this Privacy Policy and understand our approach to handling personal data. How We Collect Information

Our primary methods of interaction with candidates, sources and references are email, telephone, and video or in-person meetings.  We collect and process your personal data in multiple ways:

  • Information you provide when you interact or correspond with us by telephone, e-mail, through video or in-person meetings including your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, employment and/or education history, personal description or biography, professional resume/qualifications, job title(s), demographic data, compensation expectations, employment objectives, professional or volunteer memberships, community volunteerism, language skills, job performance, and reputation. It also includes responses to interview questions, materials you prepare for a client of The Dubrof Group, LLC as part of an executive search process, financial account information (for the limited purpose of coordinating and reimbursing for any search- related travel), reference names or professional contacts, and any request for services (if seeking to engage The Dubrof Group’s services).
  • Information we gather through research about you and your career. We may collect information from publicly available sources including organizational or corporate websites, LinkedIn, Candid/GuideStar, social media on which you have a profile, hard-copy or online conference brochures where you might be, or have been, a speaker.
  • Information we gather from references from individuals you’ve provided or “off-list” sources and from people who have introduced us to you.

We do not use any information collected via our website. Our web hosting service automatically collects device information such as IP address, cookies, geographic data, browser, device operating system, application version, and language settings. We do not analyze or use this data.

How We Use Your Information

We may use your personal data to:
▪ Contact you about a career opportunity.
▪ Consider your candidacy or process a career-related application.
▪ Seek your insight on an executive search engagement.
▪ Update you on our client work.
▪ Update you on our firm.

Our work – connecting talented leaders with high-performing organizations seeking to fill executive and board positions – inherently involves sharing your personal data with our clients. We emphasize to our clients the confidential nature of your information and take measures to ensure that such disclosure is reasonable and appropriate; for example, we only share your resume when you have been informed that we will be providing it to a client for a specific executive search. We do not sell or rent your personal data.

We store our documents and your personal data in our database and in Dropbox or Google Docs. We do not engage service providers or suppliers to perform services requiring them to access or use your personal data. If a contractor is required to access your personal data, we will make reasonable efforts to ensure that they are subject to confidentiality and security obligations with respect to such personal data.

We may also disclose your personal data:
▪ To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, sale, or other transfer of some or all of the assets of The Dubrof Group, LLC.
▪ To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any subpoena or governmental or regulatory request.
▪ If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the safety, rights, or property of The Dubrof Group, LLC or others.
▪ For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information or to which you have consented..

We may also use, disclose, or otherwise process any information for statistical or any other purposes that we choose in our sole discretion, as long as such information is not in personally identifiable form. Please note that unless you tell us otherwise, we may share your information with current or future clients. How You May Make Changes to Your Information

How We Protect Your Information

The Dubrof Group, LLC maintains reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. To the extent that we disclose your information to third-party subcontractors, we require that such third parties also maintain reasonable security and confidentiality measures and use the information in accordance with our instructions. In addition, where we disclose your information to clients, we will request that they properly protect the security and confidentiality of such information and otherwise process such data in accordance with applicable law.

Jurisdiction

The Dubrof Group, LLC is located in the United States, and any personal data we collect is subject to United States law. The privacy and data protection laws in the United States may not be equivalent to the laws in your country of residence.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

The Dubrof Group, LLC reserves the right to change or amend our privacy practices. Amended versions of this Privacy Policy will be posted on this website with the revised date.
